Objectives

Final objective:

To compile a comprehensive encyclopedia of Islamic Intellectual sciences

Middle objective:

To prepare a glossary for every discipline of Islamic Intellectual  sciences (such as logic, philosophy, theology, theological schools and sects, theoretical mysticism, literary mysticism, practical mysticism, epistemology, philosophy of science, moral philosophy, political philosophy and legal philosophy).

Primary objective:

To launch basic inquiries into Islamic Intellectual sciences to pave the ground theoretically and practically for the compilation of a (gigantic) encyclopedia.

Accomplished and ongoing projects

1. Preparation of A Glossary of Celebrities (consisting of 5 volumes and containing 8 thousand entries). This glossary has been published.
2. Preparation of A Glossary of Logic (containing 10 thousand entries). Every entry consists of an encyclopedic article, texts of definitions and terminology. This project is underway.
3. Preparation of glossaries of Islamic Intellectual sciences covering disciplines such as logic, philosophy, theology, epistemology and moral philosophy. (They are published but the) glossaries of other disciplines will soon be accomplished.
4. Preparation of a comprehensive bibliography of Islamic Intellectual sciences (introducing 40 thousand sources). This work will be published in 22 volumes containing 6900 pages. They are now being revised for the last time.
5. Preparation of a bibliography with subjects presented in tree structure (containing 30 thousand sources). It will be published in 29 volumes containing 17400 pages. It is also under final revision.
6. Preparation of A Thematic Glossary of Select Logical Books (containing 3247 keywords, 8161 abstracts and 8146 indexes from 14 sources). It will be published in two volumes.
7. Preparation of A Thematic Glossary of Sharh e Mawaqif (containing 4239 keywords, 23642 abstracts and 8146 indexes from al-Maqif and its commentaries). It will be published in two volumes.
8. Preparation of A Thematic Glossary of Suhrawardi’s collection of works (containing 2500 keywords, 3650 abstracts and 13400 indexes). It is going to be published in three volumes.
9. Preparation of A Thematic Glossary of Philosophy (containing 3 thousand keywords, 18800 indexes and 8600 tables of contents from 35 important philosophical works). It is forthcoming in five volumes.
10. Preparation of A Thematic Glossary of Theology (containing 4750 keywords, 25697 indexes and 10282 tables of contents from 42 important theological works). It will be published in 5 volumes.
11. Preparation of A Thematic Glossary of Logic ( containing 3364 keywords, 6961 indexes and 3390 tables of contents from important logical works). It is going to be published in 3 volumes.
12. Preparation of scholarly files for all the encyclopedia entries in traditional and modern ways. It is under final evaluation.

2. Kanz al-Hikma (2), containing texts, abstracts and indexes of 14 important logical works along with the glossary of logic.

4. Kanz al-Hikma (4), containing detailed table of contents and indexes of 24 important logical works along with the glossary of logic.
5. Kanz al-Hikma (5), containing detailed table of contents and indexes of 35 important philosophical works along with the glossary of philosophy.
6. Kanz al-Hikma (6) containing a detailed table of content and indexes of 42 important theological works along with the glossary of theology.
7. The software of scholarly file containing scholarly files of entries related to the encyclopedia.
